They all have nasty side effects.
I've been taking LDN for almost 10 years. I started Copaxone a few years ago because, like you, I'm not holding out for a cure and I just wanted to do SOMETHING.
I dont believe MS has anything to do with diet, parasites, etc., etc.
The damage is in our brains, in our spines. Figuring out the cause may not even be enough. Figuring out how to repair the damage is the key.
SCT looks hopeful, but its a wicked catch 22. Repair the damage, but you still have the cause. Find the cause, but will that help find the repair for the damage?
