I notice quite a few people here who have studiied the Bible and have deep Christian faith.

If we are all made in God's image then why
Is virtually everyone in this forum calling God "he?"

The alpha, the omega, all that is and all that ever was or ever will be....

Surely this encompasses more than just a male God.

Women are godlike when they give birth. Actually the whole world and the whole universe is miraculously being reborn and recreating itself every instant of every day. God is in the blade of grass that springs up and unfurls itself and also in the blazing inferno of the sun which sustains life.

Every day our bodies turn water into "wine" (blood) which is vital to our existence. How does this happen... It is a miracle pure and simple. No biologist or chemist can understand it fully.

The Bible can be interpreted on many levels including symbolically. Organized religion created the anthropormophic God imo. I never saw a person with two people (father and son) in one body! We are created in God's own image, both males and females. Each of us has one body, one spirit, one mind...
