Three nights ago when I did a swipe there was one of the filarial stage nematode portions showing up as purple under a lighted 5x.

I don't usually look closer anymore, but did for the relative novelty of the purple, which shows up from time to time.

A quick look with more power.... it was still alive, half of it moving, reaching....

I wanted a better look. A sharp toothpick end was employed.
It was a tussle as it had dug into the piece of paper towel used as a swipe and attempted to hold.

I got it to a slip to take a look.
By this time the nematode had stopped moving.

Under greater magnification the bright purple was gone and it was to looking like so many.

There was a protozoa/nematode hunting fungus that had nailed it.
Wrapped, around and around the middle with hyphae.
That suc*** was done for.

Remarkable to see this struggle of mini-titans.

I believe somewhere there is a scripture along the lines of God using small things to confound the wise, the powerful.

I don't claim to be any of those last two.
Just an afflicted human who had the skills to take a closer look.

There appear to be a number of things under the flag of, "Morgellons."
What I have found for my case appears to be so for a substantial number.
That is not to say that I have The Answer to the Conundrum.
I can't claim that.
An, "Insider," could not claim The One Blanket Answer due to multiplicities.

There appears to be a number of variations on themes, differing themes altogether.
Different tests, experiments.
And there is the category of accidents/escapes and attempts at remediation.

As to what I have found with me and it appears a large number of others.... why some people exhibit profound, blatant symptoms due to some Thing that is now ubiquitous in the environment while the multitude does not, I cannot say.

I am too old and tired to do much more.... just don't have the years.
Don't have the money to throw at it in terms of lab, research.

I got my first looks through microscopes in the 1950s.
I'm old and running out of gas.
