I wonder how many people who have said they had a scan that didn't detect anything actually HAVE a parasite? I can see xrays or cat scans being ineffective but an MRI or ultrasound should be able to pick something up... depending on the type of parasite. Some move within the body and others do not. And those who have skin parasites, they'd be too small to detect anyway.
