Cut one of the ooutput wires and solder in a diode and that will change it from AC to pulsed DC.Pulsed DC and 100% DC (static voltage/current) are two different things but may be related. Beck said that using electric current for blood electrification that DC "wrecks the blood". I tested on myself 100% DC and it wrecked my blood, I thought I was dying as the final result I was in such bad shape. But the mad scientist in me had to know for sure. A Clark Zapper originally output 30,000 hertz (output voltage cycles per second) whereas Becks original frequency was 4 hertz. So it may be comparing apples and oranges.
anyway, food for thought.
