I realized I had candida a year and a half ago. It was then I started cutting sugars and other foods out of my diet. I still eat rice-nut chips, pork, beef, cheese, nuts, etc. However, in the next day or two I will adopt much of the protocol I've seen on these forums. I will start a detox, which will be followed by a strict stage 1 diet.

I currently take the following antifungals: nystatin, oregano oil, and caprylic acid.
I also take Inner-Eco Probiotics made from coconut kefir and Saccharomyces Boulardii.

I have seen that with a detox protocol, it can be started with a fast, which I will do for 3-7 days. Then it should be followed by antifungals and eventually probiotics. They say that taking antifungals and probiotics while doing the detox would create too much die-off. Perhaps this advice is for people who are not currently taking antifungals and probiotics. My question is: Should I stop taking the antifungals and probiotics when starting the fast? Or should I continue them? I feel pretty terrible when I miss a dose of antifungals or probiotics, so I fear the same would happen if I stopped them for the fast and stage 1 diet.

All advice and thoughts will be appreciated!
