Help! Got appt with DDS (the only one Huggins recommends in FL) for Fri, but he does NOT do cavitat scans, office mgr says he uses CT scans and X rays to find cavitations.

I have no pain area I suspect could have a cavitation, is this a good idea? I hate the idea of CT Scan or X ray...thanks!!!
