Change pillow case daily and wash in hot water with Dawn, bleach and borax and dry on high

If you don't wash your sheets daily then at least buy a sticky lint roller and clean your sheets with it (A cheap disposable one is perfect).

Buy a 20 X magnifying mirror and pointed tweezers. Tweezerman brand is the best. Try not to pick at any sores but with this mirror you can see them. They look black, long and skinny and if you see one use the tweezers to remove. I thought for the last 3 years they were black ingrown hairs growing since I am going through menopause. Unknowingly I was spreading them all over my face, neck, shoulders and well my whole body!! And clean the tweezers everytime with 91% rubbing alchohol.

Don't scratch your sores! You will spread the mites. Keep fingernails as short as possible and clean them with a fingernail brush.
If you are female try to not wear makeup (foundation). If you use a makeup sponge don't resuse it.
Buy tea tree shampoo, conditioner and a soap bar. I got mine at Sally Beauty Supply. The bar was under $3.50 and the shampoo and conditioner was under $7.50 each

Don't shave your legs! You are spreading the mites.
Now here is the most important item to buy. It really works to kill the mites and heal the sores. I was doing all the above but my sores would not heal and the mites kept coming back. But just after one night of using the Nerium cream I woke up to almost healed sores and dead mites!
