A while back I told everyone how I just don't feel well - main complaint is absolutely NO sex drive. A few years ago I had a complete hysterectomy (including ovaries and most of the cervix). I went to my GYN doctor on June 2 for my yearly appointment. I told him all my symptoms and that I wanted to have all of the blood work for my thyroid to be checked (especially since my Mom had a lot of problems with her thyroid when she was young). At the time, I didn't ask what he was going to be testing for - I just said that I wanted a complete blood panel done for my thyroid. Well, anyway, when they called me with the results - the nurse said that my T4 was 0.95 and my TSH was 2.65 (which as they said was absolutely normal and are in normal ranges). I waited until now and called my GYN's nurse back last week and told her that I would like to come back in and have COMPLETE blood work done on my thyroid. She said that we just did that - but I said there is more than just the T4 and TSH to test for - she said we don't test for anything other than the T4 and TSH - we don't do any tests other than those for the thyroid???? Now what do I do??????
