I'm very sorry for you, your wife, and all people who are affected.

BPD does not - DOES NOT - have a "cure," and is only marginally managed IF the BPD person is willing to engage in some serious behavior modification. Even then, it's typically so toxic to family members and friends that it's ruinous.
