Statistically, it's highly unlikely that a child from Mexico would be at the root of any measles outbreak.

Mexico's Measles % vaccinated:
2009 = 96%
2010 = 95%
2011 = 98%
2012 = 99% (!)

Versus USA Measles % vaccinated:
2009 = 90%
2010 = 92%
2011 = 92%
2012 = 92%

"Damaged" from vaccinations? Anecdotal evidence is not a gold standard. Long term credible statistics reveal that serious after effects of vaccinations are a 1/1,000,000 occurrence.
