I suggest to click on GG's link and read the comments. It is always helpful to read what other people are doing.
The somewhat positive thing your doctor said was try it another week (seems to be short) she is not saying you can't have the Armour. After that week you could say what you prefer. You will see in the comments that there is also nature-throid (sp?), may be that will be good too.
