I've been on Iodine for a month. I started out just a few drops a day and increased to 100 mg two weeks ago. My TSH was tested on Mon, 7/28. My T4 was normal, but since my TSH was 6.9, she wants me to be on meds. She didn't test my T3. I don't want to tell her i'm taking iodine.

So is thyroid supplementation even necessary when on iodine?
