take your time... do what you feel is right... I recommend regular blood tests from your doctor to measure your progress.. but dont rely on your doctor's knowledge of thyroid issues.. chances are you know as much as he/she does.. and before long your knowledge will surely outpace your doctor.

now, my doctor doesnt argue with me.. she simply says "I dont know what youre doing, but whatever it is, keep doing it because its working."
