Hi Healing,

I was wondering what your timeline has been like with EC. When did you get it, what have you tried in chronological order. I noticed in some of your previous posts you tried moist healing like daniel with Aquaphor healing ointment. I'm assuming that didn't work. It seems like that was the main reason for success with Daniel's lips. In Daniel's previous pictures I don't think he had the upper lip raw triangle that many EC sufferers have. I've been leaving my lips alone and that is the hardest part to notice any sort of improvement. I'm curious as to why Daniel has used aquaphor and it's helped him and it hasn't helped others.

I can't completely tell if Daniel's lips are healed and it was my comment you were referring to in your original post. It's not that I wouldn't necessarily be satisfied with my lips looking like Daniel's in the picture even with constant moisturizing. It's more that if I start using Aquaphor now I'm afraid any progress that I may have gained leaving my lips alone will be lost once I shift to using Aquaphor. And aquaphor may not be a full time solution. So currently I want to stick it out with leaving it alone until I have deemed that it will not 100% work. But it is tough because I believe I have seen progress using a slightly varied leave alone and so it would be tough to switch. But my confidence in this leave alone method wavers constantly.
