It depends on his true intent...doesn't it?

If we understand love correctly, we know that every loving father warns his child to look both ways before crossing the street. Or not to touch the hot stove.

Our heavenly Father loves us enough to warn us of the consequences of sin and about hell.

Is that knowledge frightening to us because He hates us or because He loves us?
