Did that ever get blown out of proportion!
Everyone has the right to do what ever they want to gain control of their health. Wheather it is The Master Cleanse or ten different cleanses done at the same time as the MC, the choice is individual. I was mearly stating facts, and I think everyone should know what the Master-Cleanse is truly about.
Detoxing the body too many ways at the same time can't be good either, no wonder so many have trouble during the cleansing process. It has taken years of abuse to get to this point, so trying too many things at once can create other problems. Detoxing can take a very long time not just one 10 day Master-Cleanse with PB shakes, Liver Flushes and so on.......all at the same time.
People shouldn't be so sensitive about the post here since we are on the Master Cleanse Forum and if you read the book, the Mr. Burroughs as a method to he maddness. Some people have had great results adding various other cleanses at the same time and others try to follow in their foot steps and get really sick or have nasty reactions and can't figure out why. Not everything will work the same way on everyone, so all I was saying is that the Master-Cleanse is a cleanse in itself and if followed properly shouldn't have too many bumps along the way. Probably less problems than if you start adding other cleanses to detox fast and dump all kinds of toxins into the system very quickly and quit because you feel like s**t for so long. Cleansing the body takes years and pre or post MC, other cleanses can be done very effectively with less stress on the body, especially for someone who is new to the cleansing world. No one is wrong for trying anything or doing anything, we are all individuals and what works for one doesn't always work for another.

Bottom line The Master Cleanse is the Master Cleanse.
