I will agree with you that the Church of Christ is not the perfect example of the one true church any more than the other churches. But if we read about the 7 churches in revelation, the church of Philadelphia (brotherly love) was praised for enduring patiently.

I believe the true church still exists...but it exists spiritually by the example of the Philadelphia church.
