(NaturalNews) Tissue salts are minerals essential to assisting the body to maintain a healthy balance in the bones, teeth, muscles, tissues and nerve
cells. If the body is lacking in certain tissue salts, an imbalance may occur at the cellular level which can lead to poor health conditions or disease.
Skin conditions such as itchiness, dry skin, flaking, eczema or Psoriasis may be remedied by taking the relevant tissue salts.

Itchiness and dry, scaly skin

Nat. Phos. (Tissue salt no. 10) fights the acidity that can cause the skin to itch and flake. Add 20 drops of liquid Nat. Phos. to a half cup of warm
water. Dab onto the skin when itchiness is unbearable.

Nat. Phos. is found naturally in herbs such as coriander, cumin and ginger. Foods rich in this mineral include raspberries, apples, apricots, strawberries,
grapes and asparagus. A drink made of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice also reduces acidity in the body.

Tissue salts for chafed skin

Nat. Sulph. (Tissue salt no. 11) works as a cell cleanser and helps to detoxify the liver. Take 2 to 4 tables, 3 times per day, to ease immediate
irritations. Apply Nat. Sulph. topically by crushing 6 - 10 tablets and dissolving them in a little water. Apply to the affected area with a cotton swab
for itchiness, chafed skin and even eczema.

Eat foods containing Nat. Sulph. such as broccoli, cabbages, leeks, beetroot leaves, green peppers, bananas and apples. Herbs to eat containing this
mineral include burdock, mullein, yarrow, parsley and celery.

Fragile, flaking or peeling skin

Silica (Tissue salt no. 12) - Silica should be naturally present in the skin, hair, nails and bones. It eliminates toxins and is known as a cell cleanser.
This mineral helps when skin is flaking or when painful cracks appear on fingers in the winter time. It is said to reduce surface wrinkles and to improve
lusterless skin, hair and nails. The recommended dosage is 2 silica tables to be taken 2 to 4 times a day.

Herbs including silica are dandelion leaves, stinging nettle tips, horsetail and comfrey. Silica rich foods include chicory, spinach, lettuce, lemons and
pomegranates.

Chapped, rough skin and rashes

An important tissue

salt

in skin care, tissue salt no. 7 (Kali. Sulph.) helps in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema and rashes. For children suffering with eczema, rashes or
childhood diseases such as chicken pox, give Kali. Sulph in liquid form as per the recommended dosage. It may also be used as a lotion or taken in tablet
form. Take 2 tablets, three to five times a day, to clear a specific condition. Kali. Sulph. also works as a skin rejuvenator.

Foods rich in Kali. Sulph. include almonds, rye, oats and carrots. Herbs to eat are watercress, linseed, mustard and melissa.

Chapped skin and fissures around the lips, heels and nails may be helped with tissue salt no. 1 (Calc. Fluor).
