When i am led by the Lord to read the bible, i read the bible. When led by Him to soak in His presence in stillness and silence, connecting my heart to His in love, i do that. When led to worship Him musically i do that. When led to fast, i do that. When led to counsel and encourage people, i do that. When led to command unclean spirits to leave God's children or to pray healings for them or to pray for them to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, i do that. When led to rebuke deeply entrenched unrepentant sinners who believe they are servants of the Lord (exactly as Lord Jesus did and as led by the same Holy Spirit), i do that. When i am led by the Lord to do anything, that's what i do and it is all with absolute delight because i love to be led by my Lord's living voice and it is the desire of my heart to do whatever He leads.

By contrast, when man says "you have to read your bible every day", or "you have to go to 'church' every sunday", or "you have to be a tithing member of your 'local body'", or "you have to submit to a guy who attended seminary", or "you have to keep your hair short to be holy" i am not led by such things as these.

I have been led to keep it pretty simple. Love the Lord my God with all my heart, mind, soul and strength and do whatever He asks by His living voice. Mixing in man's rules with this as many have chosen to do only weakens the beauty and purity of the intimate personal relationship with the Lord that is available to us all.
