My grandmother taught me about the benefit of taking Epsom Salts about 50 years ago. Just do not be excessive.

The fatalities are extremely rare and are usually the result of bowel blockage or some other condition.

Epsom Salts is a good way to eliminate a lot of toxic crud from your intestines and colon.
