I was diagnosed with chronic lip dermatitis ...i went to my derm a few months ago didnt have peeling lips but i did have scaly lesions forming on bottom lip and the lower part of top lip....derm prescribed momestone furoate (Elocon) dont know if thats the correct spelling used to once before bed and straight after used emulsifying oimtment bp m
..good thing about the momestone is that it has a bleaching effect overtime which is a sign of stopping the topical but it leaves a lighter shade of lip colour and more elasticallity of the lip. Which is a win win now i dont have dry lips woooohooo also does work for peeling lips using perioxide in toothpaste will hurt the enamel overtime, use sensodyne fluoride toothpaste and visit the denist get your teeth cleaned pays a huge role in lipa and gum infections
