My husband died on Thanksgiving this year. We had been divorced but had gotten back together a long time before. we had a perfect thanksgiving day. Then we were watching a football game. The Detroit Lions my son's favorite team. We don't live there. They were texting a little. We both fell asleep from eating a lot I guess. I woke up later and was ready for a turkey sandwich, another tradition for evening. I tried to say something to wake him up, he didn't respond. Then I went and sat by hi and put my hands on his face, and he wouldn't wake up. I freaked but got the ambulance right out. They could not revive him. Anyway there is a lot more but just wanted to clarify that. He took care of me and we were married for 33 years. We always loved each other.
Edit; no I'm not 40 I am 57. Bill was 59 when he died.
