Yes, I mix a little with water and apply it to my lips - just let it sit for a few minutes until it starts burning and wipe it off. You may be right, that I am just controlling it - but yes, I haven't been doing anything like putting ANYTHING on it for over two weeks and no more burning or peeling so I'll take it! I don't even wear lip balm or the calendula lotion anymore.
