Today is day 29 for me on MC. I did not believe I could exist without my Imitrex for Migraine headaches or my Prilosec for my incessant and very disturbing heartburn and acid reflux. I am totally awed that I have not fallen into a total heap of disfuntional flesh after not taking them for this long. They are very expensive drugs and require lots of doctors visits and testing to remain on them. I have had headaches (detoxing would be my guess), but I am using essential oils and they work! I still get a little heartburn, but lemonade or just water calm it down and it goes away (as opposed to staying like it always did before).

I know your issue with bi-polar is different from the ones I have and very scary to lose the fragile control you sometimes have. I would recommend reading some of the other forums and seeing if other people have tried other ways to control it(other than medication). It may be that there are alternatives to the medicine that would be conducive to use during the MC.

I hope you can find a way to do this. I think it would help you.
