Well, allergic reaction can trigger overactive seb glands. I think the oil from overactive seb glands may feed bacteria/yeast. The blood test I took was the Candida Antibody Blood Test. Ask your doctor to test for all 3 antibodies (IgM, IgG, and IgA). Whenever I asked conventional doctors what it meant that my level was high, they said they didn't know what it meant or it meant nothing. They just aren't educated on the matter.

Some time ago, I wrote a post about all the different types of candida and how they don't respond the same to antifungal medications. Just a reminder that certain species of yeast respond to certain medications better than others.

"Candida glabrata for instance is another candida species that is resistant to the drug Diflucan. Glabrata responds well to topical flucytosine, topical boric acid or one of the Enchinocandins."

The best test to diagnose yeast overgrowth is a stool sample, but the easiest test is the Candida Antibody Blood Test.

IgM antibodies will tell you if you have an infection right now or not.

IgG antibodies reflect a past or ongoing infection.

IgA will reflect a more superficial infection or an infection that is on the outside surface of the mucosal linings of the body.
