I've perused this forum and haven't read anyone mention this. I have Hashimotos and I'm trying to get this right from the beginning. Since sometimes the Iodine Loading Test comes back with erroneous results due to the NIS Symporters not being able to do their job, I thought I should start supplements, like Vit. C and Selenium to start repairing them before I even take the Iodine Loading Test. Though I already have my test kit from Hakala, I don't want to waste my kit and have to retest if the results might be bogus due to my symporters.
Comments or advice anyone?
