I found out pretty fast that heat throws off TDS meters, I just wait until it cools, then use the suggested method of multiplying the reading by 2. I would really like to understand my above questions about current or the amount of ma affecting particle size, because if it does not I would sooner just use the 9 volts and silver coins.
