Essentially everyone gets EC from harming their lips by repeatedly exfoliating, biting, sucking, and/or licking their lips to the point that they damage the top layer of skin and cause the vermilion zone to become chronically inflammed. No one gets EC from eating eggs, sugar, dairy, wheat, etc. Putting all this misinformation on here is actually going to impede people's ability to find a real cure.
