How to tell if the foot bath is actually doing something

When I was demonstrating them to health shows I would ask if there was any ladies with PMT or menstrual cramps or such symptoms. In 20 minutes they were so relieved and later follow up showed the effect laster for more than 28 days into the next menstrual cycle with NO discomfort. We sold quite a few to husbands... Q Energy Spa or Aqua Chi devices..
