Alkalizing the body can cure candida and even cancer (look it up).
It can neutrlize the intestines and we want that area to be acidic so that candida dies.
Thing is you've probably been doing it wrong. Baking soda should be taken 2 and a half hours before and after eating not to disrupt digestion. And instead alkalize the body not the intestines. That's what I have understood so far.
