Thanks for this information. I have heart rates as low as 36 and 43. A cardiologist finally found I have heart rates that are not registering. However, my body acts like my rates are 36-43. He did nothing, and sent me on my way. I had two sleep studies at two different places a year apart, that showed a slight need for CPAP, but didn't record the degree of symptoms I am experiencing. I can't take the continuous air flow.I had been waking up at night gasping for air, and my daughter says I snore like crazy. I purchased a VPAP myself, and am much better, but I'm not a medical person, and am struggling with this. I have had two surgeries postponed because my O2 readings were in the 70's. I had my O2 meter checked against the one in my doctor's office and it is accurate. You might try doing the same. At this time, I am exploring o2 therapy, IV help, etc, but am unsure. I also would like to be able to read the card in my vpap machine, but most of the help is disallowed on the internet anymore. I have lost 50 pounds, which helps. I've found the gel masks are the best for me. Any suggestions? I have Medicare, which doesn't pay for much, so I have to watch my spending. I can't see that my message posted, so I'm going to try again. Sorry if this is a duplicate.
