Yeah it does, definitely nothing hot.

I did Yakult a few months ago, after it cleared up quite a bit, I kind'a stopped because I ran out and kept forgetting to get some, also along with a not so good diet kinda ruined it, but it never returned to how it was before, only a few spots. I've definitely seen a huge improvement already within 2 sachets (2 days) of actually eating the VSL#3 instead of drinking it though! Hopefully it's the same to you!
