I continue researching iodine & the lungs. There are major factors about iodine deficiency: Dry eyes, dry mouth, dry skin, problems with stomach acid and DRY LUNGS! Iodine is essential for mucous in the lungs & intestines. This is why SSKI has been so amazingly effective in removing lung congestion.

Then add in antibiotics & steroids (inhalers) used for lung disease, and then we have a recipe for SERIOUS lung problems going into a downward spiral from Candida Overgrowth.
