I eat a restricted diet that allows me to only get about 5mg of iron daily. I have had major trouble sleeping for several years combined with overwhelming fatigue during the day.

I have been supplementing with just enough ferrous sulfate to get my rda and all of a sudden I cannot sleep more than 5-6 hours, but I feel no fatigue at all. In fact, I feel pretty good during the day now.

Is needing less sleep common with iron deficiency correction?
