before i got medicaid(government insurance because im poor BECAUSE I CANT WORK DUE TO ILLNESS) I had to pay out of pocket for all my stool test. they were like $130 a pop and they were all negative. Your insurance is either EPO/PPO, or HMO. EPO/PPO require co pays and HMO's dont pay anything. I have HMO. Your probably paying a partial payment on the test. you can check with your insurance to see if they can pay the whole amount.
