6-12 months generally at 50mg, your mileage may vary. Think of Iodine as food, you need it to survive. If you think Iodine is expensive wait till you start having to pay medical bills and buy prescriptions because you ignored a deficiency. Staying healthy isnt cheap but neither is being sick.
