I took 800 mcg of selenium for months first year of iodine, but the soil over here is very low.
I would be careful with taking too much, but how much we cannot decide for you. The methionine form is what we suggest at this forum. Here is a link that may be useful;

Two months is next to nothing, it took me a year to combat my hypo T; and the improvements continued after that.
Your symptoms seems to be a mix of hypo T and adrenal fatigue.
Similar to what I had. Supporting the adrenals is important, as it cooperate with the thyroid.
