This is a very cheap test that can be done at home. It is not one that will be recognised by doctors or anyone that you are trying to prove the existence of a problem.

A more reliable test is the Heidelberg test which would be acceptable and show that there is a problem.

I recommend that you try the test at home first of all and find out the result before trying to get the Heidelberg test.

Precisely when do you burp? Is it a long time after eating? Is it while you are eating? I think that SIBO will only show evidence such as bloating after your stomach has started to empty which can take a long time. Burping is more likely to be a problem with your stomach, maybe helicobacter pylori or another urease positive bacteria. Anything like this will negatively affect your digestion and food breakdown because of lack of sufficient stomach acid.
