I take iodoral and SSKI at the same time, My Lungs need KI and my prostate needs iodine. Iodoral did wonders for my prostate, but was inadequate for my lungs.

Thyroid needs 3% prefers Iodide
Skin needs 20% and prefers iodide
Salivary Glands prefer iodide
- - - Iodine is used by the prostate + Stomach
Muscles (650mg) and fat needs(700mg iodine) 70%
Breast tissue needs 3-5 mg / day minimum and prefers iodine
Prostate prefers iodine
Stomach prefers iodine
Lungs prefer iodide
Ovaries prefer iodine
Entire body stores 1500 mg 1.5 gm total
* Dr Brownstein Recommended supplements = Lugols Liquid or iodoral 12 or 50 mg caps

PS)
I didn't know what to expect from the added SSKI, so I was quite surprised to see the response from my lungs. Within 1 week, the chest tightness went away & I was frequently clearing my throat of junk that came out. Lungs are still improving as I type this. Also the added SSKI in water goes down smoothly. Not bitter at all. I've just bumped it up to 300mg a day (15 drops @ 20mg per drop)
