Update. This is day 3 at just after midnight and I want to die. I don't think I've ever coughed this hard or involuntarily in my life. I was asleep for all of an hour and woke up coughing uncontrollably. Painfully.

No heavy junk coming up, just lightly yellow color phlegm.

Surely, some part of my equation is wrong. I cut out the mullein after the first round because it sent me into fits.

Do I need a different source of CS? Too much too soon??

The last thing I want to do is go to the ER, but if this gets any worse I won't have a choice.
