Hi,

So I felt obligated to update everyone on my situation after all this time

I've been off those natural supplements, antioxidant and calcium drinks for OVER A YEAR.

My folliculitis has NEVER came back.

I shave my head back to the buzzcut style that I like. I'm no longer worried about it.

The acupuncture definitely helped me. And I think the supplements, antioxidants and calcium drinks definitely helped my body get stronger. But more importantly I believe it was stress that elevated the symptoms of my folliculitis

It really didn't flare up and bother me until I started putting medicine and using specialty shampoos on my head and read countless times that there was no cure and that I just had to live with it.

If that's all you've read too, I'm glad that you came across this post because I am no longer suffering from it at all after having it bother me for years as I have written in previous posts

Don't get me wrong, I'm not discounting my acupuncture therapy at all, because aside from it helping your blood flow better and balancing out your hormones, it's also a great stress relieving therapy.

If acupuncture is too expensive try yoga or meditating. If you're simply scared of needles try getting massages. The point is I urge some of you to relax and set aside some "me time" more often. You have nothing to lose anyway.

I'm only telling you my story and how I was able to get thru it. I'm no doctor, just someone that has been there and beat it.
