From my experience I can say like fresh herbs are easier to grind when compared to dried herbs, but in some cases dried one’s will be more easy to grind. I always suggest fresh herbs and they are little more expensive. One of my friends who are working in a spice mill service (hortonspicemills.com) suggests me to grind the spices by our self and that helps to get the greater flavor of the spices.
