As you have previously been told, when you start taking large doses of vit C the underlying damaged arterial walls get repaired as the collagen gets restored. As that happens the cholesterol lining/stuck to the arterial walls breaks free and is now floating in the blood stream where it can now be seen in lab work.

This is a temporary increase and cholesterol levels should subside as the body metabolizes the extra free cholesterol.
