Since this is an Adrenal Debate Forum and not an Adrenal Fatigue Debate Forum, and Adrenal Fatigue is a controversial term used by naturopaths, I've changed the title to leave out the controversial term and stuck with the mainstream medical terms of Adrenal Function or Adrenal Insufficiency. I know we're dealing with semantics, but some cannot think in generic terms and get hung up.

The point I was trying to make was that Candidiasis, or more generically, some form of dysbiosis, can have a negative impact on the human host, ultimately affecting the endocrine glands incusive of the adrenal glands.

This article, published by an NIH researcher, explains it.

chronic, worsening fatigue

The author goes on to say:

underactive parathyroid glands, which produce a hormone that regulates calcium and phosphorus balance in the body
slow sexual development
pernicious anemia, a severe type of anemia
chronic candida infections, a type of fungal infection
chronic active hepatitis, a liver disease"

From the same author:

"...fungal infections are still a major cause of adrenal insufficiency in populations with a high prevalence of these (adrenal) diseases."

I'm providing this because there was a challenge in this forum that both Candidiasis and Adrenal Fuctions are pseudoscience the debate challenge was "The link between pseudoscience and pseudoscience, but I'm not lost on the irony of this, both theorized conditions are misdiagnoses of malnutrition/starvation"

Clearly Candidiasis is a real condition and Adrenal Insufficiency is a real condition so neither are pseudoscience. Aside from that they are scientifically linked.

What I haven't seen is the evidence that a high carb diet will eradicate either or both. Saying that people who think they might be suffering from so called Adrenal Fatigue should carbo-load is even counter to most of the pseudoscience about Adrenal Fatigue http://www.alternativemedicine.com/adrenal-burnout/adrenal-fatigue-fix
