Found my cure: PROSKIN Eczema by mama nature and 100% coconut oil

First of all I'm not typically one to make blogs or posts, but after going through POD for years I decided to do something about it. I also feel the need to share my story because your stories had helped me. I am so sorry for every one of you going through this awful situation and I wish you all the best. I hope my posting can help someone too.

When it all started
About 6 years ago I was a part time university student, working full time, and was also in a committed relationship. I was busy, stressed, and exhausted from the pressures of life. Out of the blue one day I noticed a rash on the bottom corner of my mouth. Thinking this rash was due to weather changes I simply ignored it. After the different seasons had passed and noticing this rash was not ever really going away I started putting anything on it that I could ... my bf's cream, a coworkers eczema cream, cortisone cream, diaper rash cream...whatever. There were times I noticed a change but after the cortisone cream I noticed it began spreading and obviously it was getting worse. After graduating I decided I now had the time to really figure this thing out and researched it and came across perioral dermatitis. I searched the symptoms and it looked exactly the problem I was experiencing. I read countless articles, blogs, and forums of people suffering from this situation. I felt hope that I wasn't alone but I was searching for what anyone tried to cure it.

I knew I had no allergies to food which was based on tests I did when I was a child.

So I tried the following to see if it would help.
1) Apple cider vinegar (internal and external)
This dried my skin and burned. Was effective in bringing the bumps down.
2) Tea tree oil (external and diluted)
This didn't help
3) organic oregano oil with coconut oil mixed together. Helped reduce bumps but didn't cure it.
4) stopped using regular toothpaste
Did nothing
5) yogurt mask
Calmed the pinkness nothing for the bumps
6) violet extract (externally)
Worked great for weeks
Used before bed and sometimes in the morning.
7) probiotic pills (internal)
Not sure if it did anything
8) pro skin eczema by mama nature (external)
Cured my POD
9) reducing the amount of bread and Sugar intake
Helped with the severity of the outbreaks
10) coconut oil
Helped moisturize and clean the area

The biggest help was PROSKIN by mama nature. I still try to keep my consumption down of eating bread and sweets because POD has to do with a candida overgrowth in your body.

My daily Treatment
Morning I wash my face with water and coconut oil 100% natural coconut oil. Coconut oil is a great moisturizer, makeup remover, etc.
I then apply a small amount of coconut oil all over my face. Ensure it's not too much otherwise your foundation won't set. So after coconut oil has been applied I put proskin on my mouth area and let it absorb in to my skin. Then I apply my make up and go to work.

After work I wash my make up off with water and coconut oil and rub the pro skin around my mouth area. I sometimes apply one more application before bed. I have noticed dramatic results. No more bumps or redness in 2 weeks it was 100% gone.

I use regular crest toothpaste, have not changed my detergent or shampoo.

I just use those two things and it works.

Pro skin by mama nature is all natural. Although it was a bit pricey at $53 it was worth every penny.

I was frustrated and getting very down about this condition but now that I have found what works for me I live a better life. I hope it works for you too.

If you're wondering about me
I am 30 years old
I wear makeup and didn't switch my brand
I eat a lot of veggies but am not a vegetarian I do like and eat meat. I found that bread created a negative POD reaction and I think it's because of the yeast.
In no way am I a doctor so I am just sharing my story on what worked for me.
I exercise 4-5 days a week but have always kept this a routine during and after my POD situation.

Good luck :)
