I am building an auto filling water distiller. I went to the dump and picked up a discarded gas stove from which I removed the gas flex hose regulator valve and burner. I will use a pressure caner for a vessel adding a brass float valve inside drilling a hole for the 1/4 inch feed tube. This will make it stay full of water from the tap, or with a small pump any water source. I connect a 15 feet length of tubing to where the weight goes on the pressure caner. (You could also use a small tank just add a temperature pressure relief valve). I had some coated 1/2 inch aluminum pex but copper or stainless steel of any suitable diameter would work. If your tubing is 15 or more feet you it will cool from the ambient air temperature and not need a cooling fan.
You can use any gas stove I just opted for a free one from salvage. A rocket stove from 12 bricks would work also. This method will just keep working making distilled water until the heat is removed. It is safe as it is auto filled and the caner has a pop off for safety. If you scrounge the parts it should be almost free. With this description you will not need a drawing, good luck and let me know how you do.
