I just wanted to pass this on to whoever might be interested in my experience...I have been doing Iodine for a couple of years now, and my Synthroid dose has been reduced by a third, from 75 mcg to 50 mcg. So it's not true that you can never get off Synthroid.

Also, my metastatic Breast Cancer has not grown back since chemo, which ended 1 1/2 years ago.
