You're welcome! I have axillary bromhidrosis (mostly). I've had it for over 15 years, sadly enough. Unscented deodorants seem to work better on me, since it's actually made it easier for me to smell my own (natural) odor and I am no longer masking it.

However, I have had success with **naturally** scented deodorants, too. That have mild scents. L'Occitane use to make a great one. Le Couveht des Minimes (natural) is ok as far as scent, but it doesn't work as well as Soapwalla.

I stuck with the natural ones that had generally good reviews, online, at places like Amazon or MakeupAlley. I also tried to look for why people posted negative reviews, since sometimes it's not because the deodorant is ineffective, at times its due to irritation.

I've heard Oyin Handmade makes a great one, too. Without shipping, it's also affordable.

I can't say laser hair removal would work as well. Not as effective at destroying the hair follicle at the root, which is why electrolysis is FDA approved. It's more accurate, but it takes years even if you never miss an appointment. Not necessarily that long to notice a difference though...

Moreover, when you do electrolysis, go for the blend method or galvanic. For more details, vista HairTell. It's a forum with lots of electrolysis that can explain the difference, the thermal one is probably not as effective for coarse hair (i.e. pubic). Also, it's one of those treatments that seems to rely somewhat heavily on the practitioner.

If you get a diagnosis for bromhidrosis, I think electrolysis is an approved treatment. Not certain, though.
