Yes, I used to get this feeling ALL the time... and it isn't just like an itch or something... it may also itch, but it's much deeper and scratching it doesn't really help matters.

I went through what seems to be a pretty common line or approach towards treating various infection-types... namely candida. From various anti-fungals (black walnut, white willow, pau d'arco, etc) to just various 'home remedies' in general; apple cider vinegar, baking soda, etc... from time to time through these the 'skin crawling' would increase and then die down.

It's been a while.. a long while actually, so I can't provide the link, but what was explained in a forum-type format made a lot of sense.
It said that it was one of a few things... but, all of them being one thing: a type of infection.

Narrowing down and ruling out the more aggressive ones (worms, ringworm (a type of fungus), etc), it came down to the idea that it was most likely a fungus... but not of the typical athletes foot or ringworm variety. I overlapped this with my memory (and trials of left over supplements) of antifungals and.. yes... while taking these I remembered the feeling being much worse.

But, the WORST it got, by far, was after I'd learned about iodine/iodide.... and started taking it. Mixing up my daily dose between the pill form of Iodine & Iodide in Iodoral (cheapest via Amazon) and J.Crow's Lugal's solution (also cheapest on Amazon.. the two 2oz bottle product... look around, you won't find it cheaper. I make no money, and, if i did, it wouldn't be much because ... it's the cheapest out there).

As I was stepping my daily dose of these up, as recommended, I noticed that the 'skin crawling' was becoming worse and worse. It wasn't, in fact, until I decided to 'slam' my body with it ..after about 3 weeks to a month of building up to what was recommended for a daily dose of 50mg a day...I realized that, at the time, I weighed 'nearly double' (this is a lie, but i weight just over 200lbs) the weight of the average person who these regiments were directed.

On about the 4th week, I decided to just straight double the dost from 50mg a day to 100mg a day... half from Iodoral, the other half from the J.Crows Lugol's solution.

A MAJOR motivating factor of this specifically *was* the fact that I was 'itching' so bad, and so deeply... ie the 'crawling under my skin' feeling... that I couldn't take it any more.

I likened the lower doses of Iodine as a form of 'slow torturous success'... it was working, definitely, but at those rates it was going to take *months* of me crawling out of my skin...

Within about 5 days.... and a bit of a step up of the herx reactions I'd experienced in the first few weeks... nothing. The skin crawling had ceased completely. I kept up the 100mg a day for about 2-3 more months... until whatever supply of Iodoral & J.Crows that I'd had at the time ran out... and then I ordered more and stepped it down to 50mg a day over the next month, then to 25mg a day the following month, and have been at about 12.5mg a day since... or a half a pill of Iodoral and a drop of JCrows solution a day since... with a few times where I felt I was coming down with something and I'd step it up for a week or so before backing it off again.

Once 'saturated' in iodide/iodine, where levels are back to 'where they 'should' be'... I don't really feel where it's necessary to take as much every day... I've noticed no real benefit in it... and stepping it up from there for a few days has always completely crushed anything I felt I may be catching (flus, colds, viruses, infection-types in general still abound so... just because my defenses are healthy and Iodine is there, doesn't mean a person doesn't still risk the chance of infection... however brief... and need to increase a bit to defend off an infection...

with that... I haven't felt it since. I haven't really gotten sick since... like, at all. My energy levels are way up, and my skin is healthier than ever. It heals from scrapes and cuts very fast, and it feels stronger and healthier... and not in a 'leathery' sort of way. It also feels softer and.. just better.

What did I liken this to? My suspicions put it at just what I'd read: a low grade fungal infection.

It takes a little while to kill these, fungi are very resilient... and they can grow and spread incredibly fast... esp when under attack. In fact, 'to spread' is one of their strongest defense mechanisms. Fungi, when they feel threatened, will reduce themselves back to spore form... basically they 'freeze', shrink themselves to a spore... thus removing any metabolic rate altogether... thus toxins and things that kill fungi can't kill them via a normal living metabolic rate... and, with that, they 'go with the flow' in hopes of transplanting themselves somewhere else... that's more hospitable. Once there? they will grow incredibly fast.

I don't know if you've ever tried to kill a mold in your house... like black mold or other mold-types... but... you can literally see them growing. They will 'dig themselves up and out' of the infected wood or surface... and, instead of a small surface area but a deep root, they will go shallow & wide... and, if that doesn't work, or even if it does... almost especially if it does, they will then go to mushroom state really really fast (this is how they seed.. their 'fruit' if you will) and create new spores and send them far and wide in hopes of surviving another attack-type.

You can almost literally see this happen. I have seen a mold go from whatever it was before I 'attacked' it to mushroom state in under 15 minutes... very very fast. Almost like an animal.
This doesn't surprise me either. Fungi contain just 5% the dna of bacteria. just 10% the dna of plants... and 30% the dna of mammals.... not just animals, mammals. They are almost more like animals than a plant.

With that, imagine this happening under your skin. this speed or rate of increase. Imagine an attack happening to them... or an opportunity to spread... a new food source or something similar.

If they can grow that quickly when under attack, imagine how quickly they can grow in opportunistic environments. Iodine will kill pretty much anything (but animals). Bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa, etc... they all die when exposed to the sufficient quantity of iodine/iodide and for a long enough period of time. When putting enough into your system... with the intention of killing infections... they get exposed to this amount.

I imagine that this is what I felt... and, it only seemed to get worse... until it very rapidly dropped off to a state of non-existence. It literally hasn't happened since the drop off point.

Maybe this lengthy explanation helps?

If you're looking at iodine/iodide news... I recommend checking out Dr Sircus' site first... others are better once you get deeper into it, but his is about the best for the introduction. DrSircus . com ... just search 'iodine'.

Check out his articles titled:

Iodine to the Rescue.

his Iodine articles in general
(I can't link directly but that's the title)

and, his personal best, in my opinion

Iodine: Bring Back the Universal Nutrient Medicine
(I can't link directly but that's the title)

....

of course, as you get past these three (and the archives), you'll want to delve deeper.. directly into Dr Abraham, Dr Brownstein, and Dr Flechas works specifically.... including their YouTube videos.... but, overall, it won't take long for you to be convinced of the power and potential of the proper iodine/iodide treatment regiment....

....just remember, 1/10th of the 'cells' in our bodies are made from *our* DNA... the rest are the organisms living within us...many of which we are absolutely dependent on. We're just sacks, containers of sort for these others... we are less than 1/10th of the DNA in our body... and we all work together and exchange genetic information as well as countless others.

Never underestimate the power of the 'things' living inside of us... esp the ones that make you itch and feel like you have things crawling under your skin... most of us do.

(I haven't been a member long enough to include links in my messages, but a simple google search of those titles should bring you the results on the first page)
